However, in order to effectively carry out the requested service, certain data may be shared with external parties appointed to perform specific tasks on behalf of our company (e.g., web agencies, marketing consultants, professionals, etc.).
The Data Controller undertakes to protect the security of personal data by adopting all necessary IT and physical measures to safeguard the information provided. Nonetheless, no security system can guarantee absolute protection. Therefore, except in cases of liability due to the fault of the Data Controller, VERONASPOSI shall not be held liable for any actions committed by third parties who unlawfully access systems without proper authorization.
9. MAIN PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING ACTIVITIES ON THE WEBSITE AND RELATED DATA RETENTION PERIODS
A) Browsing this website is also permitted for users who are not registered. Simple browsing does not involve the collection of identifying data. However, for the normal functioning of this website, the IT system may acquire certain information whose transmission is implicit in internet communication protocols (e.g., log files). Additionally, through the use of cookies, information that is not directly provided by the user may be collected (see Cookie Policy). In any case, this information is not collected for the purpose of associating it with identified individuals, but by its very nature, it could still allow third parties to identify the user through processing and associations with other data already in their possession.
B) By completing the form labeled “CONTACT US,” the user provides identifying data such as name, surname, email address, and personal information such as the wedding date, location, and type of service requested. The provision of this data is neither a legal nor contractual requirement. Therefore, submitting such data is optional; however, failure to fill in the required fields will prevent the Data Controller from providing the requested service. This data is processed to allow direct contact with the Data Controller or their delegate in order to receive the requested information. Data is processed using computerized systems and, in some cases, also on paper. The data is retained until the requested service has been completed, unless a contract is subsequently signed. In that case, the data will be stored for ten years from the signing of the contract for legal protection in the event of disputes arising from the agreement.
C) By completing the contact form located under the “YOUR STORIES” section, the user provides identifying data such as name and email address. Through this procedure, the user shares their opinion on a specific project, and such data may be used to improve the services offered. Users are not required to provide this data. At any time, users may request the deletion of their data by contacting the Data Controller at the addresses indicated in the “General Information” section of this Privacy Policy. This data is processed to perform activities related to providing services to users, such as allowing users to express their preferences and enabling the company to align and personalize its commercial offerings. Data is processed using computerized systems. The data retention period ends when the user revokes their previously given consent.
D) Our website uses so-called plugins from certain social networks, such as Facebook, Instagram, and Vimeo. To prevent the transmission and storage of internet browsing data via social networks, users must log out of those accounts before visiting our website. For more information on this topic, please refer to our Cookie Policy.
E) Except for what is provided in the Cookie Policy (to which we refer for further details), this website does not implement automated decision-making processes for commercial profiling purposes (a marketing technique that involves collecting and processing user data to understand their choices and behaviors, in order to group interests into “profiles,” or homogeneous groups based on increasingly specific behaviors or characteristics).
10. USER RIGHTS UNDER EU REGULATION 2016/679
Article 13(2) and Articles 15 to 22 of EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) outline the rights of the data subject.
VERONASPOSI and CREATIVE COTTAGE therefore inform you of the following:
- The data subject has the right to request from the data controller access to their personal data (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), or to object to processing on legitimate grounds (Art. 21 GDPR), as well as the right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR);
- The right to request the erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), anonymization, or blocking of data processed in violation of the law, including data that does not need to be retained for the purposes for which it was collected or subsequently processed.
Requests may be sent to the Data Controller without any formalities, or alternatively by using the template provided by the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali), available at:
http://www.garanteprivacy.it/web/guest/home/docweb/-/docweb-display/docweb/1089924,
by sending an email to: info@leonardoecaterina.it or info@creativecottage.it.
If the processing is based on Article 6(1)(a) – express consent to processing – or Article 9(2)(a) – express consent to the processing of genetic data, biometric data, health-related data, or data revealing religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, racial or ethnic origin, or political opinions – the user has the right to withdraw their consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
Likewise, if there is a violation of the regulation, the user has the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority, the supervisory authority for data protection in Italy. The complaint form is available at:
http://www.garanteprivacy.it/web/guest/home/docweb/-/docweb-display/docweb/4535524.
For a more in-depth overview of your rights, please refer to Articles 15 and following of the GDPR.
To exercise one or more of the above rights, you may contact us at the following email addresses: info@leonardoecaterina.it or info@creativecottage.it.
COOKIE POLICY
This Privacy Policy is an integral part of the following Cookie Policy, including the rights that users may exercise by contacting the addresses indicated herein.
Pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR), as well as the provisions issued by the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali) in its resolution of May 8, 2014, concerning simplified procedures for the provision of information and the acquisition of consent to the use of cookies – published in the Official Gazette No. 126 of June 3, 2014 – and in compliance with all subsequent clarifications, VERONASPOSI provides the following Cookie Policy.
This Cookie Policy is intended to provide users with all the information required under Articles 13 and 14 of GDPR, as well as to describe, in a detailed and transparent manner, the characteristics and purposes of the cookies used on this Website, allowing users to select/deselect individual cookies.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small strings of code that websites visited by the user send to the user’s device (typically the browser: Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, etc.), where they are stored to be subsequently retransmitted upon each revisit by the same user.
Why are cookies useful?
Cookies enable the website to recognize the user’s device and thereby enhance the browsing experience. Among other purposes, cookies allow the user to navigate efficiently between pages, remember preferences, store language settings, etc. Additionally, they help ensure that online advertisements are better targeted to the user’s specific interests.
How can cookies be managed or disabled?
Unless prior consent is required for profiling cookies, most browsers are initially configured to accept cookies automatically. Users can limit or block cookies by modifying their browser settings. Refer to the browser’s instruction manual or help section for guidance, using the links below for common browsers:
- Internet Explorer:
https://support.microsoft.com/it-it/help/17442/windows-internet-explorer-delete-manage-cookies - Safari:

If the user utilizes more than one browser, the procedure must be repeated for each. The same applies if multiple devices are used (e.g., smartphone or tablet); in such cases, refer to the device’s user manual.
Please note: blocking cookies may compromise or prevent the proper functioning of the Website, as some cookies are strictly necessary for navigation.
What types of cookies exist?
Cookies can be classified as follows:

– Persistent cookies (remain until expiry or manual deletion by the user) - By ORIGIN:
– First-party cookies (set directly by the Website being visited)
– Third-party cookies (set by external websites) - By PURPOSE:
– Technical cookies: necessary for navigation, security, performance, and session state; also include preference, location, and functional cookies. Statistical/analytical cookies by first or third parties with IP anonymization and without data merging are also considered technical. These do not require user consent.
– Profiling cookies: used for statistical analysis (without IP masking), advertising, retargeting, conversion tracking, or any data merging. These do require prior consent.
What cookies does this Website use?
Technical Cookies
This Website uses technical cookies, without which certain operations would be difficult or impossible. These do not require prior user consent and may be first or third-party, session-based or persistent.
These include so-called strictly necessary cookies, which enable basic navigation functions, such as authentication, storage of prior actions, and remembering preferences. Blocking these cookies may compromise the user experience.
The Website also uses functional technical cookies, which improve the browsing experience by remembering user preferences (e.g., language, name, location). These cookies may proactively provide services or prevent repeated offers. Blocking them does not compromise functionality but may limit some conveniences.
Consent-tracking cookies may also be installed to remember the user’s acceptance of cookie usage. Blocking these is not recommended.
Third-party Cookies
This Website also uses third-party cookies, both session and persistent.
Analytical technical third-party cookies collect aggregated information about user interactions (e.g., pages visited, time spent, navigation errors). These cookies help the Website Owner improve services and do not involve processing personal data (e.g., name, IP address), as IP anonymization and no data merging are implemented.
